GRABE Benin
GROUPE DE RECHERCHE ET D’ACTION POUR LE BIEN-ETRE AU BENIN (GRABE-BENIN ONG) are a non-profit organization of Beninese origin,
founded by a group of young people in October 1996. GRABE-BENIN have established a number of programs committed to the sustainable development of the rural world, working mainly with children, women and peasants.
GRABE-BENIN is committed to the regeneration and safeguard of natural ecosystems. Through their work they promote the economic development of rural communities in an environmentally sustainable way, with a particular focus on protecting the rights of women and children.
GRABE envision a healthy, prosperous planet with enough ecological resources for future generations. In order to promote an environmental conscience, GRABE seek to spread traditional and new knowledge about effective environmental policy. They also develop concrete actions to reduce human pressure on natural ecosystems. In parallel, GRABE have developed programs to foster economic development in our communities, such as an ecotourism trade, village cleaning and other employment.
